Azerbaijan exported 339,389 tons of crude oil to Ukraine in January 2021, Trend the reports citing the statistical report of the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan.
According to the committee, the value of crude oil exports to Ukraine by Azerbaijan for the reporting month amounted to $111.4 million.
“In total, Azerbaijan exported over 4 million tons of oil during Jan. 2021, which is 0.7 percent more than in January 2021. In monetary terms, the volume of oil exports amounted to over $1.35 billion, a decrease of 30 percent year on year. The share of Ukraine in the export of crude oil from Azerbaijan amounted to 8.4 percent,” said the SCC report.
The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in January this year amounted to $144.6 million: exports - $115.6 million, imports - $ 29 million.
In 2020, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Ukraine amounted to $771.5 million. Exports to Ukraine from Azerbaijan in January 2021 amounted to $353 million, imports - $418.4 million.
