The main criteria (availability of licensed technology, guaranteeing sales markets, and the possibility of organizing financing) required for the investor have been determined, on the basis of which groups of petrochemical companies have been defined.

Currently, negotiations have begun with Chevron Phillips Chemical, which offered its MarTECH licensed technology and assistance in supporting an off-take contract.

Details of cooperation, including participation in the project, will be discussed in the near future.

“Since the key condition for successfully attracting a strategic partner in the provision of the project with raw materials, the issue of construction of a gas separation plant with a capacity of 9.7 billion cubic meters is being considered in cooperation with Tengizchevroil. The constructed infrastructure will allow extracting ethane from dry gas,” Nogayev said.
