Aviation oil imports to Georgia amounted to 4,900 tons in March 2021 that is 2,500 tons or 104.2 percent more than in the same period of last year (2,400 tons), Trend reports via the Union of Oil Products Importers.
As reported, in March 2021, 59.2 percent of aviation oil was imported from Turkmenistan (2,900 tons) and 12.2 percent (600 tons) from Italy, 10.2 percent (500 tons) - from Azerbaijan; 10.2 percent (500 tons) - from Russia, 8.2 percent (400 tons) - from Turkey.
Apart from that, from January through March imports of aviation oil amounted to 11,000 tons that is 7,500 tons or 40.5 percent less than in the same period of last year (18,500 tons).
From January through March, 63.6 percent (700 tons) of aviation oil imports was imported from Turkmenistan, 11.8 percent (1,300 tons) - from Turkey, 11 percent (1,200 tons) - from Italy; 4.5 percent (500 tons) - from Greece; 4.5 percent (500 tons) - from Azerbaijan; 4.5 percent (500 tons) - from Russia.
In March 2021, the import of petroleum bitumen in Georgia amounted to 5,000 tons that is 1,600 tons or 47 percent more than in February (3,400 tons).
