A number of facilities in Iran's water sector will be put into operation in 5 provinces on May 3, Trend reports citing Ministry of Energy of Iran.
According to the report, a total of 1.57 trillion rials (about $37.3 million) has been spent on water facilities and drinking water supply to the villages in Zanjan, Isfahan, Bushehr, Kerman and South Khorasan provinces of Iran.
A wastewater collection and filtration center will be put into operation in Zanjan province and 31 villages will be supplied with water. In this regard, 506 billion rials (about $12 million) has been spent, the report said.
Two wastewater filtration centers will be put into operation in Iran's Isfahan province. About 124 billion rials (about $2.95 million) has been spent on these filtration centers.
“Moreover, 24 villages in Bushehr Province, 34 villages in Kerman Province and 12 villages in South Khorasan Province will be supplied with water,” the report said.
