Complete replacement of 0.4 kV electrical distribution devices of transformer station No. 41 and equipment for remote control of electric drives was carried out at Shurtan oil and gas production department, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to information, Uzbekneftegaz JSC is implementing the project on modernization of the 1st, 2nd, 5th stages of the propane-butane mixture separation unit in the Shurtan oil and gas production department in order to increase the production of liquefied gas.
Within the framework of the project, newly built gas pumping units and substation Shurtan-16 110/6 kV, which supplies electricity to the gas cooling units of the compressor station, are equipped with four sets of modern high voltage switches, two sets of reactive power compensation equipment.
Also, a new type of transformer substation 2xKTPP-1000/6 / 0.4 kV was installed at the compressor station.
In order to ensure uninterrupted power supply of gas cooling units and automation systems of gas pumping units No. 8 and 9, a complete replacement of 0.4 kV electrical distribution devices of transformer station No. 41 and equipment for remote control of electric drives was carried out at this facility.
In addition, about 6,800 meters of new cables were laid.
“The newly built transformer stations, electrical equipment and equipment laid the foundation for ensuring uninterrupted and uniform operation of compressor stations of compression, preventing possible emergencies and providing them with high-quality electricity,” the message said.
