The necessary measures are being taken to increase the gasoline output at the plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas in the Akhal region of Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The plant manufactured 1,800 tons of gasoline daily, which is delivered to Afghanistan and European countries on the basis of concluded contracts.
Also, there are no sulfur compounds or nitrogen-containing organic compounds that are harmful to the environment in the synthetic fuel produced by the plant. Meanwhile, the main product of the plant is gasoline ESO-93.
The specific steps are being taken in Turkmenistan to implement strategically important projects designed to ensure the transition to the manufacture and use of environmentally friendly energy.
Among the main tasks set for the fuel and energy sector of Turkmenistan are meeting external demand and growing domestic energy needs.
As reported, Turkmenistan intends to pay special attention to increasing the pace of oil production.
The indicators of the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan increased from January through April 2021.
Thus, during the reporting period, the country exceeded the plan for the production of gasoline by 9 percent, diesel fuel by 0.8 percent, polypropylene by 5.5 percent, lubricating oils by 0.1 percent, liquefied gas - by 7.1 percent, natural and associated gas production-by 14.6 percent.
In addition, the plan for gas exports was exceeded by 19.3 percent, and the development of investments by 9.1 percent.
