Over 437 million tons of oil have been transported from Azerbaijan via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan BTC) pipeline to the Turkish and global markets so far, Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov said, Trend reports citing the agency.
Shahbazov made the remark at the 4th Summit on Energy and Natural Resources, organized by Turkuvaz Media Group and supported by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey.
According to the minister, up until now, 81.7 billion cubic meters of natural gas have been transported through gas pipelines to Turkey from the Shah Deniz field.
From January through March 2021, revenues from the sale of gas and condensate produced at the Shah Deniz field amounted to $29.1 million.
In total, from 2007 to January 1 of this year, SOFAZ's revenues from the sale of gas from this field amounted to more than $3 billion.
Revenues from the sale of condensate produced at the Shah Deniz field over the first quarter of 2021 amounted to $29.1 million.
