Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC) has published its 2020 activity report, Trend reports via the GNERC.
The document contains an overview of electricity consumption tariffs in different countries.
According to the report, as of 2020, the average price of one kilowatt-hour of electricity in Georgia is 23.5 tetri, which is one of the lowest tariffs in Europe.
Cheaper electricity is only in Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan.
As for the highest consumer tariff, it falls on the countries of Western Europe. The price of one kilowatt is the most expensive in Germany, according to the report.
