The production of natural gas in Azerbaijan exceeded 17 billion cubic meters from January through May 2021, including commercial gas - 12.5 billion cubic meters, Trend reports with reference to the State Statistical Committee.
On annual basis, these indicators increased by 3.4 and 7.7 percent, respectively, said the committee.
In the first 5 months of 2021, oil and gas condensate production in Azerbaijan amounted to 14.3 million tons, which is 6.2 percent less compared to the same period of 2020, said the report.
As of June 1, 2021, stocks of finished oil products amounted to 303,200 tons.
In 2020, natural gas production in Azerbaijan exceeded 36.7 billion cubic meters, and commercial gas – 26 billion cubic meters, and thereby increasing on annual basis by 3.1 and 6.3 percent, respectively.
Azerbaijan’s oil and gas condensate production in 2020 amounted to 34.5 million tons, which is 7.8 percent less compared to 2019.
As of January 1, 2021, stocks of finished oil products amounted to 439,500 tons.
