Chinese business community showed interesting in implementing joint investment projects with Kazakhstan in such industries as metallurgy, transport and logistics, mechanical engineering, and renewable energy, Trend reports citing KAZAKH INVEST National Company.
The vision was presented within the framework of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei International Investment and Trade Fair 2021, during which a special session on the presentation of the investment potential of Kazakhstan was held in China’s Handan, Hebei Province.
During the event, the investment potential of Kazakhstan agro-industrial and mining, and metallurgical sectors was presented to the participants of the session.
In addition, the Head of the Representative Office of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund JSC Iskander Baitasov made a presentation on the activities of the Fund and potential areas of joint investment cooperation at the session.
Following the results of the event, the China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) management noted the high dynamics of cooperation between Kazakhstan and China on trade and investment cooperation.
In turn, representatives of the Chinese business community presented their vision of ways to further develop investment cooperation between Hebei Province and Kazakhstan and showed interesting in implementing joint investment projects in such industries like metallurgy, transport and logistics, mechanical engineering, and renewable energy.
