Iran’s Shiraz Petrochemical Company boosts sales

The sales of the Iran’s Shiraz Petrochemical Company increased by 31 percent during the first three months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through June 21, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing the company’s website.

According to the report, the company's sales in the 3 months amounted to 17 trillion rials (about $406 million). While in the same period last Iranian year, this figure was 12.9 trillion rials (about $308 million).

“The sales of company amounted to 4.9 trillion rials (about $117 million) in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2021), 6.38 trillion rials (about 152 million) in the 2nd month (April 21 through May 21, 2021), and 3.77 trillion rials (about $137 million) in the 3rd month of the current Iranian year (May 22 through June 21, 2021),” the report said.

Also, the value of company's each share amounted to 1,270 rials (about 3 cents) over the three months. This is an increase of 51 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year, the report said.

As reported, Iran's Shiraz Petrochemical Company was established in 1959. The company is located on an area of 300 hectares of land.

At present, the company's annual production capacity is 3.28 million tons. Of this, 677,000 tons are ammonia and 1.07 million tons are urea. The company also produces methanol, chlorine, argon and other products.
