Iran's Energy Exchange announces products to be on sale August 14

More than 42,000 tons of hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iranian Energy Exchange on August 14, Trend reports citing the Iranian Energy Exchange (IRENEX).

According to the report, Iranian Tabriz Oil Refining Company’s iso feed, solvent 404, solvent 402 products; Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company’s coal; Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s MTBE (methyl tert-butyl ether) products will be on sale on the domestic floor.

“MTBE product of the Iranian Shimibaft Petrochemical Company; naphtha products of Lavan Oil Refining Company will be sold on the international floor,” the report said.

Certain products on IRENEX may become available for sale at a later stage, but they are not listed in the initial release.

According to the report, today on Aug. 11, Iranian Pars Petrochemical Company’s pentane plus; Esfahan Oil Refining Company’s solvent 410; Tehran Oil Refining Company’s iso recycle and heavy naphtha; Tabriz Oil Refining Company’s solvent 402; Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company’s iso recycle; Abadan Oil Refining Company’s pentane; Iranol Oil Company’s heavy and light extracts were sold on the domestic floor.

“The MTBE product of the Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company; naphtha products of Persian Gulf Star Oil Company were sold on the international floor,” the report said.

A total of 50,600 tons of goods worth more than 7.47 trillion rials (about $29.6 million according to the SANA system) were sold on Aug. 11.
