Aviation oil imports amounted to 6,800 tons in June 2021 in Georgia that is 1,700 tons or 33.3 percent more than in the same period of last year (5,100 tons), Trend reports via the Union of Oil Products Importers.
According to the countries, in June 2021, some 44.1 percent of aviation oil was imported from Turkmenistan (3,000 tons); 29.4 percent (2,000 tons) from Italy; 14.7 percent (1,000 tons) - from Azerbaijan; 10.3 percent (700 tons)- from Turkey and 1.5 percent (100 tons) from Greece.
Apart from that, from January through June imports of aviation oil amounted to 28,100 tons that is 800 tons or 2.8 percent less than in the same period of last year (28,900 tons).
From January through June 61.9 percent(17,400 tons) of aviation oil imports was carried out from Turkmenistan, 14.9 percent (4,200 tons) - from Italy, 8.9 percent (2,500 tons) - from Turkey; 7.1 percent (2,000 tons) - from Azerbaijan; 5.3 percent (1,500 tons) from Greece; 1.8 percent (500 tons)- from Russia.
