Electricity facilities to be launched in Iran's Semnan Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Aug. 22

Several electricity facilities in the Semnan Province (northern Iran) will be launched or foundation of them laid within the "Government Week" in Iran (August 24 through August 30, 2021), Director of Semnan Regional Electric Company Ali Akbar Sabbagh said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.

According to the director, a total of 2.05 trillion rials (about $48.9 million) is to be spent in this regard.

Sabbagh added that seven facilities were carried out with restoration work. These facilities will be launched.

“The 10-kilometer-long Eyvanaki industrial park was equipped with a 63-kilovolt power line and 130 billion rials (about $3.09 million) has been spent in this regard,” he noted.

The director said that moreover, the foundations of 10 facilities will be laid. So, 1.87 trillion rials (about $44.6 million) will be spent in this direction.
