Nominations for gas flows (entry) at Kipoi (Greece) interconnection of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) stand at 228,708,816 kWh for Sept.13 and 29,000,000 kWh for Sept.14, Trend reports citing TAP’s electronic platform.
The volume of daily natural gas flows at Kipoi at the time of writing is 18,701,601 kWh.
As for Nea Mesimvria, the exit nominations for Sept.13 stood at 36,346,301 kWh. No data is available for Sept.14. The physical flows equaled to 3,030,526 kWh on Sept.13.
At Malendugno, the exit nominations for Sept.13 and Sept.14 amounted to 192,362,515 kWh and 29,000,000 kWh, respectively. The physical flows stood at 15,935,940 kWh for Sept.13.
As the European section of the Southern Gas Corridor, TAP has the capacity to transport approximately 10 billion cubic meters of gas per annum (bcm/a) to several markets in Europe. The pipeline is also designed with the potential to expand its throughput capacity up to 20 bcm/a.
As a key part of the Southern Gas Corridor, TAP is strategically and economically important to Europe and essential in providing reliable access to a new source of natural gas. TAP plays a significant role in boosting Europe’s energy security, supply diversification, as well as decarbonisation objectives.
TAP’s shareholding is comprised of bp (20%), SOCAR (20%), Snam (20%), Fluxys (19%), Enagás (16%) and Axpo (5%).
