The value of petrochemicals production in Azerbaijan totaled over 2.88 billion manat ($1.69 billion) from January through July 2021, which is 8.7 percent or 250.7 million manat ($147.4 million) more compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing the State Statistics Committee's report.

From January through August 2021, the production of the abovementioned oil products exceeded 2.53 million tons, which is 19.48 percent or 688,656 tons more compared to the same period of 2020.
