Kazakhstan's Pavlodar petrochemical plant to suspend operations for scheduled repairs

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Sept. 29

Trend:

Kazakhstan’s Pavlodar petrochemical plant will stop for scheduled repairs on October 1, Trend reports via the official website of the enterprise.

During the shutdown period, repair work is planned at all technological units of the plant.

The enterprise is expected to reach a stable operating mode by the end of October.

During the shutdown, other Kazakh refineries (in Atyrau and Shymkent) will operate at maximum loads. In October, the Atyrau and Shymkent refineries will produce a total of about 35,000 tons of aviation fuel.

Given the accumulated volumes, this will fully cover the demand of the domestic market for aviation fuel, KazMunayGas national company said.
