Uzbekneftegaz has completed drilling at well No. 66 of the Sharkiy Berdakh field of the Ustyurt gas production department, Trend reports with reference to Uzbekneftegaz.
According to operational data, after the drilling was completed, an industrial gas flow was obtained with a daily flow rate of 80,000 cubic meters and 1 ton of gas condensate.
Moreover, drilling at well No.349 of the Shurtan field of the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department was completed as well and an industrial gas flow was obtained with a daily flow rate of 80,000 cubic meters and 2 tons of gas condensate.
Uzbeknefteqaz is carrying out large-scale work to increase production of natural gas at the fields.
In particular, along with the overhaul of wells, drilling of new wells, repair and commissioning of abandoned wells in the complex is being carried out.
The Sharkiy Berdakh gas condensate field is located in the Muynak region of Karakalpakstan and was commissioned in 2002.
The Shurtan field is located in the Kashkadarya region and has been in operation since 1980.
