Iran facing problems at filling stations

There is a technical problem with the system of using fuel cards at gas stations in Iran, the Spokesman for Iranian Oil Ministry Ali Foruzandeh told reporters, Trend reports.

The spokesman stressed that currently, it is not possible to refuel at filling stations with a fuel card.

Foruzandeh added that there will be no problems with the share of citizens' fuel, and specialists are currently working to eliminate the problem.

Reportedly, every citizen in Iran can buy 1 liter of gasoline for 15,000 rials (about $0.35) with a fuel card.

According to the working mechanism of cars in Iran, every month the fuel card is loaded with 60-500 liters of gasoline (60 liters for private cars, 500 liters for ambulances).

The gasoline is sold freely in the country for 30,000 rials (about $0.71) per liter.
