Azerbaijan plans to produce 40,000 tons of fuel oil in 2022, Trend reports on Nov. 11 referring to the Azerbaijani draft state budget for next year.
According to the forecasts, production volume of fuel oil will remain unchanged in 2023, 2024 and 2025 in the country.
The total volume of production of oil products in Azerbaijan in value terms amounted to 3.1 billion manat ($1.8 billion) in 2020, which is by 3.6 percent less than in 2019.
The volume of oil and gas condensate production reached about 34.5 million tons in Azerbaijan in 2020, which is by 7.8 percent less than in 2019.
The stocks of finished products (oil) in the country reached 439,500 tons as of January 1, 2021.
