The Iranian government is resuming water plans related to Zayandehrud River in Isfahan Province, said Minister of Energy, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Water projects that were previously shut down have resumed to reform water sources for consumption and agriculture production, said Ali Akbar Mehrabian noted.
The effort is to solve the issues related to the Zayandehrud River, drought, and farmers' problems.
Isfahan Province is experiencing unprecedented drought while water reserves in Zayandehrud Dam are declining and can only supply drinking water.
