The next Iranian year's budget bill (started March 21, 2022), predicted an increase in renewable electricity generation from 925 MW to 1,925 MW within a year, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The Planning and Budget Organization of Iran published a report to explain the reason for widespread summer power outages.
According to the report, the current administration has developed a plan to solve the shortage of electricity generation.
The PBO predicted in the next Iranian year, 500 MW will be injected into the electricity grid from the power plants' efficiency gains.
In addition, with the growth of financial resources of the electricity industry in the next Iranian budget bill, the generation capacity of the country's power plants will increase by 4,000 MW to 92,201 MW.
