bp plans two maintenance programs offshore Azerbaijan this year, bp Azerbaijan told Trend.
“Two maintenance programs are planned for this year – one on ACG and the other on Shah Deniz,” said the company.
bp Azerbaijan said the program will be carried out at East Azeri and Shah Deniz Alfa platforms.
Total Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli production for 2021 was on average about 458,000 barrels per day (b/d), as compared to 477,000 barrels per day in 2020. As such, ACG production dropped by 3.98 percent year-on-year.
In 2021, the Shah Deniz field produced around 23 billion standard cubic metres (bscm) of gas and more than 4 million tonnes (around 34 million barrels) of condensate in total from the Shah Deniz Alpha and Shah Deniz Bravo platforms. The existing Shah Deniz facilities’ production capacity is currently about 72 million standard cubic metres of gas per day or more than 26 bcma.
