BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 28. Iran's daily gas condensate exports reached 230,000-240,000 barrels in the recent months of last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji said, Trend reports citing IRIB.
“Meanwhile, in the first months of the last Iranian year, Iran's gas condensate exports amounted to 60,000 barrels per day. This means that gas condensate exports have increased 3-4 times,” he said.
According to Owji, in recent months alone, Iran has exported 20 million barrels of gas condensate.
The minister noted that when the current government took office in Iran (since August 2021), 80 million barrels of gas condensate were ready for consumption. This has provided both domestic consumption and exports.
Within the first 11 months of the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through February 19, 2022), Iran's exports of petrochemical products and gas condensate amounted to 59.6 million tons worth $22.7 billion.
The exports increased by 43 percent in value and 11 percent in volume, compared to the same period preceding the Iranian year.
