BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 12. The ban on the export of gasoline and diesel fuel from Kazakhstan is planned to be extended for six months, Kazakh Energy Minister Bolat Aqchulaqov said, Trend reports with reference to the government.

"Today, there is a joint order of the Ministries of Energy, Finance and the National Security Committee, under which a ban on the export of gasoline, diesel fuel and other certain types of oil products has been introduced and the issue of an extension for another six months is being worked out," Aqchulaqov said at a government meeting.

According to the results from January through March, about 3.4 million tons of oil products were produced, or 107.5 percent compared to the same period last year, the minister noted.

The indicator for gasoline amounted to 1.2 million tons in 1Q2022, compared to same period last year - 102.9 percent, the volume of diesel fuel production amounted to 1.2 million tons in 1Q2022, compared to same period last year - 110.5 percent, he added.

There is an increase in terms of production and export of oil in 1Q2022.
