BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 17. Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC) conducted discussions on important oil-gas projects and plans for current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), on April 16, 2022, Trend reports citing the company’s website.

In this regard, a meeting of the company officials was held under the chairmanship of Executive Director of the ICOFC Mehdi Heydari on April 16.

During the meeting, discussions were conducted on the development of the company’s 10 important gas fields, as well as on the construction of pressure boosting centers.

In addition, discussions were conducted on the holding of tender for the completion of the construction of the Farashband Gas Refinery to extract daily 25 million cubic meters of gas from the Aghar and Dey gas fields, and the selection of a contractor for this purpose.

According to the report, the company’s official also carried out discussions to extract 9,000 barrels of crude oil per day from the Hasht oil field, as well as to reach the extraction from this field 20,000 barrels per day.

The Iranian Central Oil Fields Company has 84 oil and gas fields in 11 provinces of Iran. So far, 13 gas fields and 13 oil fields have been developed.

At present, the ICOFC has capacity to extract about 250,000 barrels of crude oil and 250 million cubic meters of gas per day.
