BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29. Azneft production union of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR jointly with McKinsey & Company is implementing Mayak project to increase production, the company told Trend.
“If the project is successful, production at Guneshli field operated by 28 May Oil and Gas Production Division will increase. At present, we’re creating a database on the project and analyzing data quality,” SOCAR said.
Azneft and McKinsey & Company specialists continue to closely cooperate for the successful implementation of the project.
These initiatives are generally aimed at improving the field development, resuming the operation of inactive wells, as well as the use of secondary production methods.
