BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 18. The sales of the Iran’s Jam Polypropylene Company (JPPC) increased by 42 percent in value, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), Executive Director of the JPPC Hamid Moradi said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.

The director stressed that the company's sales for the last Iranian year amounted to about 93.2 trillion rials (about $2.2 billion).

Moradi also added that the Jam Polypropylene Company has a 32 percent share in the country's polypropylene market.

He noted that the company's exports for the last Iranian year amounted to 17,000 tons worth $27 million.

Iran's Jam Polypropylene Company, located in Asaluyeh County of Bushehr Province (southern Iran) operates under Jam Petrochemical Company. The company produces 300,000 tons of polypropylene a year.
