BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 29. Iran's West Oil and Gas Production Company (WOGPC) has re-launched production from well No. 3 in the Dalpari oil field, an official of the company Jalal Shamsollahi said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.

Shamsollahi noted that currently, 4,000 barrels of crude oil are extracted from the mentioned well per day.

The official added that production from well No. 3 in the Dalpari oil field has been suspended for some time due to the failure of the gate valve. The company's specialists carried out the repair work and the use of local equipment prevented large expenditures.

Iran's Dalpari oil field reportedly contains about 367 million barrels of crude oil. Its 161 million barrels are extractable. The field has produced a total of 57.3 million barrels of crude oil from its inception to March 20, 2020.

Iran's West Oil and Gas Production Company are one of three subsidiaries of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC). The company has been operating since 1999 and covers the Kermanshah, Ilam and Lorestan provinces of Iran. The company can produce 165,000 barrels of crude oil and 7 million cubic meters of gas per day.

Over the next 10 years, the company plans to increase crude oil production by 440,000 barrels and gas production by 15 million cubic meters per day.
