BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 12. Azerbaijan has increased marketable gas production from January through July 2022 by 15.3 percent, as compared to the same period in 2021, Trend reports with reference to the country’s Statistical Committee.
Natural gas output stood at 27.275 billion cubic meters, including 20.481 billion cubic meters of marketable gas. The country’s natural gas output rose by 13.2 percent year-on-year.
Reportedly, the country produced 19.206 million tons of crude oil, including condensate in the first 7 months of 2022, of which 19.150 million tons accounted for marketable oil. As such, Azerbaijan reduced crude oil, including condensate production by 4.4 percent year-on-year. Marketable oil production also dropped by 4.5 percent.
The country produced 34.58 million tons of crude oil, including condensate in 2021, of which 34.51 million tons accounted for marketable oil. Natural gas output stood at 43.86 billion cubic meters, including 32.57 billion cubic meters of marketable gas.
