BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 23. Azerbaijan imported 5,231 tons of kerosene (jet engine fuel) worth more than $8 million in the first half of 2022, Trend reports via State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to the committee, the growth in value terms was 3.5 times, in quantitative terms - 4.2 times compared to the same period in 2021.
In the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported more than 4,000 tons of kerosene from the Netherlands ($6.2 million), 1,070 tons - from Belgium (1.5 million dollars), 178 tons - from Italy ($236,000).
In June 2022, Azerbaijan has imported kerosene from France for the first time since the beginning of 2022. France accounted for about 30 tons of fuel worth approximately $300 in Azerbaijan's overall kerosese imports for 1H2022.
