Iran to expand export of technical services to Nigeria

TEHRAN, Iran, August 29. Iran is seeking to expand the export of engineering and technical services to Nigeria, as well as boost energy cooperation with this country, said Iranian Petroleum Minister Javad Owji, Trend reports citing IRNA.

Iran and Nigeria have signed an agreement to expand oil, gas, and petrochemical cooperation including the export of technical services and energy development.

According to the agreement, Iran will export CNG technology to Nigeria for hybridization of vehicles and would use the country’s capacities in the LNG area in return, the minister said, adding that the agreement also includes the renovation of Nigerian refineries by Iranian companies.

Iran will use Nigeria's technical knowledge for LNG development and in return would cooperate in the CNG sector, establish refineries, and development of Nigeria's oil and gas fields.
