BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 29. In total, 712 million euro has been spent under the 4 oil and gas projects of Iran’s Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), since beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022), Acting Director of the POGC, Mohammad Hossein Motajalli said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.

He made the remark at an event dedicated to the launch of a number of new facilities in Iran’s Bushehr Province, located south of the country on August 29, 2022.

"Of this, 454 million euro has been spent on the launch of the 1st unit of the ‘Besat’ combined cycle power plant," Motajalli noted.

The official added that 74 million euro has been spent on the launch of new gas condensate demercaptanization plant.

"Meanwhile, 19 million euro has been spent on the laying of the pipeline for the transportation of gas condensate to the refineries of Iran’s South Pars Gas Company (SPGC). This pipeline is ready to be launched," he said.

According to Motajalli, work on the laying of a 32-inch pipeline from the 16th phase of the Iran-Qatar joint South Pars gas field (called North Dome in Qatar), has been started. A total of 165 million euro has been spent in this regard.
