Azerbaijan reveals gas transmission volume via TANAP

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 12. Türkiye received 4.7 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas via the Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) as of November 1, 2022, Trend reports citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy.

Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz fields in Azerbaijan have produced 201.2 billion cubic meters and 178.2 billion cubic meters, respectively since start until November 1, 2022.

From January through October 2022, Azerbaijan produced 38.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas, growing by 7.3 percent or 2.6 bcm year over year. Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) accounted for 11.1 bcm, while Shah Deniz got 20.7 bcm of this volume. Around 6.6 billion cubic meters was produced by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).

Azerbaijan’s gas exports stood at 18.2 billion cubic meters, up by 17.4 percent against the same period of 2021. Around 9.3 bcm of Azerbaijan’s gas exports was exported to Europe, while Türkiye and Georgia got 6.9 bcm and 2 bcm respectively.
