BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 4. The production of Iran’s Shiraz Petrochemical Company increased by 35.6 percent for the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 22 through December 21, 2022), compared to the 8th month (October 23 through November 21, 2022), Trend reports citing Shana News Agency.
In total, the company's production for the 9th month amounted to approximately 198,000 tons, while in the 8th month, the figure stood at 146,000 tons.
The value of the company's total sales in the 9th month was 25.3 trillion rials (about $603 million), which is 29 percent more than the 8th month. So, the value of company's total sales in the 8th month amounted to 19.6 trillion rials (about $467 million).
Iran's Shiraz Petrochemical Company was established in 1959. The company is located in 300 hectares of land in Fars Province (southern Iran). The company can produce more than 3.28 million tons of petrochemical products per year, including ammonia, nitric acid, ammonium nitrate, methanol and others.
