BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 13. Azerbaijan’s gas supplies to Europe stood at 11.4 billion cubic meters in 2022, Trend reports referring to the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan.
According to the ministry, Azerbaijan exported 8.4 billion cubic meters to Türkiye and 2.5 billion cubic meters to Georgia in 2022.
A total of 46.7 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced in Azerbaijan in 2022. This indicator increased by 6.5 percent, or 2.9 billion cubic meters of gas, compared to 2021.
Thus, a total of 13.4 billion cubic meters of gas were produced from the Azeri–Chirag–Gunashli field and 25.2 billion cubic meters from the Shah Deniz field. At the same time, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 8.1 billion cubic meters of gas.
A total of 22.3 billion cubic meters of the total volume of Azerbaijani gas produced in 2022, were exported, which is 18 percent more than in 2021.
