BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 27. The Northern Goturdepe, located in the Balkan region in the west of Turkmenistan, has received a new industrial inflow of oil, Trend reports.
According to official data, as a result of the development of well No. 392, employees of the drilling operations department of the Turkmennebit State Concern from a depth of 4,740 meters received an industrial inflow of oil with a daily flow rate of 57 tons of oil.
Modern drilling equipment will be used to perform work on drilling this well in accordance with the contract concluded with the Yugneftegaz company, and the planned life of the well is 15-20 years.
In the period from January through April of this year, the Goturdepe drilling department exceeded the production plan for drilling rocks, drilling a total of 17,550 meters. Of the five wells drilled, three are industrial.
Meanwhile, the Goturdepe field currently produces a third of the total volume of crude oil, which is produced as a whole by the Turkmennebit State Concern.
