BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 5. Turkmenistan has sold a large batch of hydrotreated diesel fuel to businessmen from Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Türkiye and the UAE, Trend reports.
Turkmenistan sold a total of 43,500 tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel to businessmen from Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Türkiye and the UAE, the cost of which was estimated at $566.75 per ton. The total amount of transactions for the sale of diesel fuel amounted to $24.3 million.
At the same time, Turkmenistan sold 100,000 units of denim trousers worth $365,000 ($3.65 apiece) to businessmen from the UAE.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. The country pays great attention to the construction of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
