BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 9. Azerbaijan exported over 128.1 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products to Indonesia from January through April 2023, which is 1.39 percent of the total export of raw materials from Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
Indonesia did not import Azerbaijani oil in the same period last year.
The value of exports of Azerbaijani oil and petroleum products to Indonesia in the specified period amounted to more than $85 million, which is 1.5 percent of the total value of exported crude oil and petroleum products from Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan exported about 9.2 million tons of oil and petroleum products in general from January through April 2023, which is 2.6 percent less compared to the previous year (9.5 million tons).
The total value of oil exports amounted to more than $5.7 billion, which is 12.7 percent or $829.5 million less in comparison with the period from January through April 2022.
