BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 11. Azerbaijan exported 6.6 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe from January through July 2023, Trend reports.
Azerbaijan's energy ministry reports that during the reporting period, the nation exported 13.8 billion cubic meters of gas, which is 7 percent higher than it did from January through July 2022.
Azerbaijan also produced gas from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block of fields, which produced 7.5 billion cubic meters; Shah Deniz, which produced 15.4 billion cubic meters; SOCAR, which produced 5.1 billion cubic meters; and Absheron, which produced 0.1 billion cubic meters.
6.6 billion cubic meters of gas were shipped overall to Europe, 5.8 billion to Türkiye, and 1.4 billion to Georgia. Additionally, during this time, 3.3 billion cubic meters of gas were delivered to Türkiye via TANAP.
Azerbaijan produced 28.1 billion cubic meters of natural gas from January through July 2023.
