Iran Energy Exchange reveals hydrocarbon products for sale on Aug. 14

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 14. Circa 90,800 tons of various hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) on August 14, Trend reports.

Of the mentioned volume, approximately 14,200 tons will be on sale on the domestic floor of the energy exchange.

The following goods are to be offered:

- Iranian Ilam Petrochemical Company’s 3,000 tons of pyrolysis gasoline;

- Zagros Petrochemical Company’s 2,800 tons of methanol;

- Shiraz Petrochemical Company’s 1,700 tons of methanol;

- Fannavaran Petrochemical Company’s 1,510 tons of methanol;

- Marjan Petrochemical Company’s 1,500 tons of methanol;

- Bushehr Petrochemical Company’s 1,000 tons of methanol;

- Kaveh Methanol Company’s 700 tons of methanol;

- Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s 600 tons of MTBE;

- Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company’s 500 tons of propane;

- Jam Petrochemical Company’s 300 tons of heavy distillate;

- Tabriz Petrochemical Company’s 200 tons of mazut, 150 tons of heavy distillate, 60 tons of pentane and 42 tons of liquid nitrogen products;

- Elixir Halal Assaluyeh Petrochemical Company’s 90 tons of normal pentane and 20 tons of hexane products.

At the same time, 76,600 tons of products will be on sale on the international floor of the IRENEX:

- Iranian Lavan Oil Refining Company’s 32,000 tons of naphtha;

- Kharg Petrochemical Company’s 20,000 tons of naphtha;

- Persian Gulf Star Oil Company’s 10,100 tons of white oil and 8,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products;

- Esfahan Oil Refining Company’s 4,000 tons of LPG;

- Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s 2,500 tons of MTBE products.

Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) sells its products at the SANA exchange rate.

SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is 453,771 rials and the price of $1 is 413,261 rials.

The sale of hydrocarbon products at the Iran Energy Exchange is of great importance to the country’s economy. Through the energy exchange, Iran seeks to provide hydrocarbon products needed by local companies as well as increase exports.
