Azerbaijan reveals overall output from Shah Deniz, ACG

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 22. Azerbaijan has unveiled the cumulative output from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) block of fields and the Shah Deniz field, reporting a total production of 580 million tons of oil and 43 million tons of condensate since the commencement of development, Trend reports.

These statistics were disclosed by Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov.

Additionally, Minister Shahbazov emphasized that approximately 621 million tons of oil and condensate have been exported.

Notably, Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli contributes to 63 percent of Azerbaijan's overall oil production, while Shah Deniz contributes to 70 percent of the commercial gas production.

The existing Shah Deniz facilities’ production capacity is currently about 72.6 million standard cubic meters of gas per day or approximately 26.5 billion standard cubic meters per year. Shah Deniz participating interests are: bp (operator – 29.99%), SGC (21.02%), LUKOIL (19.99%), TPAO (19.00%) and NICO (10.00%).

BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) Limited is the operator on behalf of the Contractor Parties to the ACG Production Sharing Agreement.

ACG participating interests are: bp (30.37%), SOCAR (25.0%), MOL (9.57%), INPEX (9.31%), Equinor (7.27%), ExxonMobil (6.79%), TPAO (5.73%), ITOCHU (3.65%), ONGCVidesh (2.31%).
