ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 18. Turkmenistan's Turkmennebit State Concern exceeded by 0.4 percent the planned targets for oil supplies to the country's enterprises from January through September this year, Trend reports.
The state concern's enterprises exceeded the plan for oil refining by 1.3 percent and diesel fuel production by 5.1 percent during the specified period.
At the same time, Turkmennebit State Concern exceeded its production plans for natural gas production by 9.4 percent and its exports by 14.3 percent.
As part of the implementation of the program for the development of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan for the period up to 2030, large-scale work is being carried out in the Balkan region of the country to increase the production and processing of hydrocarbons.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan is actively developing its energy sector, focusing on diversification and increasing energy production. The country is focusing efforts on modernizing and expanding gas processing plants, increasing natural gas production, and developing alternative energy sources.
