ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, November 6. Turkmenistan's Turkmennebit State Concern is implementing new projects in the oil and gas industry, including those related to the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex (TOPC) and the Seydi Oil Refinery, Trend reports.

Among the future projects at TOPC is the overhaul of production equipment, as well as the creation of a hydrogen production plant.

Simultaneously, at the Seydi Oil Refinery, an installation for atmospheric distillation of oil with an electric desalination unit with an estimated capacity of 1 million tons per year is planned, as is the construction of an installation for the generation of nitrogen, oxygen, and argon.

In addition, the construction of two gas turbines and an installation for delayed coking and asphalting of tar is nearing completion.

Meanwhile, the Turkmennebit State Concern's production enterprises produce a wide range of products, including high-octane gasoline, aviation and technical kerosene, jet and diesel fuel, fuel oil, lubricating oils, polypropylene, heating oil, light gasoil, petroleum and liquefied coke, construction and road bitumen, which contribute to Turkmenistan's export potential.
