BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 14. Azerbaijan imported 64,970 tons of RON-92 fuel from January through October 2023, which is 67.3 percent lower than the same period last year, Trend reports via the country's State Statistics Committee.
The data from the committee showed that the cost of fuel imported amounted to $60.2 million during this period (a decrease of 73.1 percent).
Meanwhile, the largest volume of imported gasoline accounted for Turkmenistan - 26,640 tons with a total value of $23.36 million.
Besides, 20,940 tons of RON-92 fuel worth $22.58 million were imported from Lithuania, and 17,387 tons ( $14.25 million) - from Russia.
Azerbaijan imported 198,079 tons of RON-92 fuel worth $223.45 million in 2022.
