BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 22. A new head of SOCAR Midstream Operations, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), has been appointed, an informed source told Trend.
SOCAR Midstream Operations was established in 2015, and the scope of its duties includes the representation of SOCAR's interests in onshore oil and gas pipelines, mainly in the territory of Azerbaijan.
"He resigned from the post and a 49-year-old Farhad Guliyev was appointed as the new executive director of SOCAR Midstream Operations," the source said.
Previously, Farhad Guliyev held the position of middle manager at the Sangachal oil and gas terminal, a strategic object of Azerbaijan.
