BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 20. AD Ports Group (Abu Dhabi), a vertically integrated group of companies, is considering investment opportunities in the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) projects related to logistics and transportation of products of oil refining and petrochemicals, an informed source exclusively told Trend.
"Recently, discussions took place between top executives of SOCAR and the leadership of Abu Dhabi Ports Group. The talks centered on exploring investment opportunities for the potential acquisition of vessels by SOCAR, facilitating the global trade of various fuel and petrochemical products (both domestic and international), and collaborating on the establishment of logistics hubs," the source stressed.
AD Ports Group operates in the Caspian Sea, Persian Gulf, and various other regions, dealing with logistics, maritime transport, shipping, ports, free economic zones, and economic clusters across numerous countries globally.
