BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 21. In 2023, Azerbaijan exported energy resources to the EU for a total of 18.8 billion euros, Trend reports, referring to Eurostat.
Based on Eurostat data, EU countries acquired 150.2 million
barrels of Azerbaijani oil for 12.4 billion euros. By 2022, the
volume of oil purchases had climbed by 2.6 percent.
Azerbaijan also supplied 306,900 tons of oil products to the
eurozone, totaling 186.5 million euros. The quantity of oil
products supplied increased by 17.4-fold, while sales revenue
increased by 12.3.
On natural gas, the EU as a whole acquired 492,900 terajoules
(increasing 2.5 percent by 2022) at a cost of 6.2 billion
euros.
