Iran unveils volume of products on sale at its energy exchange for Feb. 26

BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 26. More than 130,000 tons of various hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) on approximately February 26, Trend reports.

Of the mentioned volume, 35,000 tons will be on sale on the domestic ring of the energy exchange.

The following goods are to be offered:

- Iranian Abadan Oil Refining Company’s 9,000 tons of naphtha, 2,000 tons of CO, 300 tons of butane products;

- Zagros Petrochemical Company’s 3,400 tons of methanol;

- Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company’s 2,500 tons of iso-recycle, 2,000 tons of butane products;

- Shiraz Petrochemical Company’s 2,000 tons of methanol;

- Kaveh Methanol Company’s 1,800 tons of methanol;

- Sepahan Petrochemical Company’s 1,470 tons of extracts;

- Bushehr Petrochemical Company’s 1,000 tons of methanol and 450 tons of liquid nitrogen products;

- Fannavaran Petrochemical Company’s 1,000 tons of methanol;

- Arta Energy Company’s 1,000 tons of methanol;

- Bolour Kavir Mines & Mining Industries Development Company’s 1,000 tons of coal;

- Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company’s 800 tons of heavy tar oil;

- Esfahan Oil Refining Company’s 712 tons of solvent-502, 500 tons of normal hexane, 360 tons of solvent-503, 356 tons of solvent-406, 180 tons of normal pentane, 178 tons of solvent-400, 178 tons of solvent-410 products;

- Shiraz Oil Refining Company’s 700 tons of iso-feed, 500 tons of iso-recycle, 148 tons of solvent-404 products;

- Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s 500 tons of MTBE;

- Jam Petrochemical Company’s 300 tons of heavy distillate;

- Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company’s 200 tons of hexose;

- Tabriz Petrochemical Company’s 160 tons of Raffinate, 150 tons of heavy distillate, 60 tons of pentane and 42 tons of liquid nitrogen products;

- Pasargad Steel Alloy Industries Company’s 100 tons of liquid oxygen.

At the same time, 95,500 tons of products will be on sale on the Iran Energy Exchange's export ring:

- The National Iranian Gas Company’s 94,000 tons of LPG;

- Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s 1,000 tons of distillation tower residue and 500 tons of Raffinate-2 products.

Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) sells its products at the SANA exchange rate.

SANA system is a currency exchange system implemented by the Central Bank of Iran in which the price of one euro is 465,143 rials and the price of one dollar is 429,203 rials.

The sale of hydrocarbons at the Iran Energy Exchange is critical to the country's economy. Iran hopes to enhance exports and give hydrocarbon products to local enterprises through energy exchange.
