Iran Energy Exchange announces products to be on sale for Feb. 28

BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 28. More than 84,000 tons of various hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) on February 28, Trend reports.

Of the mentioned volume, 16,500 tons will be on sale on the domestic ring of the energy exchange.

The following goods are to be offered:

- Iranian Pars Petrochemical Company’s 5,000 tons of LPG, 638 tons of pentane plus;

- Persian Gulf Bid-Boland Gas Refining Company’s 4,000 tons of pentane, 400 tons of butane products;

- National Iranian Oil Company’s 3,800 tons of gas condensate;

- Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company’s 2,000 tons of coal;

- Zarand Steel Company’s 650 tons of tar;

- Kermanshah Oil Refining Company’s 50 tons of heavy naphtha products.

In addition, 68,000 tons of products will be on sale on the Iran Energy Exchange's export ring:

- Iranian Persian Gulf Star Oil Company’s 30,000 tons of light naphtha;

- Nouri Petrochemical Company’s 12,000 tons of light naphtha, 12,000 tons of Raffinate;

- Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company’s 12,000 tons of Raffinate;

- Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s 1,000 tons of MTBE;

- Tabriz Oil Refining Company’s 1,000 tons of LPG products.

Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) sells its products at the SANA exchange rate.

SANA system is a currency exchange system implemented by the Central Bank of Iran in which the price of one euro is 465,932 rials and the price of one dollar is 429,206 rials.

The sale of hydrocarbons on the Iran Energy Exchange is vital to the country's economy. Iran seeks to boost exports and provide hydrocarbon products to local businesses through energy exchange.
